“It’s extraordinarily exquisite in its combinations of music, visuals and dash of audacity.”Classically trained virtuosos, this brother and sister have always wanted to play music together.Julie plays the harp, BUT Andreas plays the bandoneon.Harp with bandoneon?!They did it anyway!…and the result is truly……breathtaking. Through this uncommon mix of instruments, combining the gritty heritage of the bandoneon with the majesty and elegance of the harp, a profound musical tension is created. Their stunning nature focused time-lapse visuals combine with this unique energy and sparks and illuminates them as uncommonly beautiful in their innovative musical drift between folk, tango and classical styles.Theirs is a rare and enchanting musical and visual experience.

Artistic Statement

We are Julie & Andreas musical duo. We combine Harp with Bandoneon in an eclectic mix of Tango, Folk and Classical traditions. We illuminate this unique combination of instruments with our own self-produced Nature time-lapse movies. Though originally from Norway, we mix many different musical styles in our attempt at touching and tasting that impossible feeling of Autumn touching Spring – to fill our songs with the melancholy joy that is the passing of seasons, the passing of time, and the remembrance of a moments well spent.
